Our tentative program schedule (and what you’ll learn!) includes:


Friday Afternoon — 3:00 p.m. — If you’re staying at Mountain Lens Retreat, you may check in at 3:00 p.m. and relax or explore the grounds until we gather at 5:00 p.m.


Friday Evening — 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We’ll gather for drinks & hor d’oeuvres at 5:00 p.m.

Overview of Infrared Photography

  • The Vision: The Esthetics of Infrared Light
  • The Science: The Light Spectrum
  • The Equipment — Camera, Lenses, Filters, and Other Tools

Craft

  • Setting White Balance
  • Exposure Basics

Artistry Techniques

  • Working with Light

  • Calibration Profiling
  • Basic Processing in Lightroom, NIK Plug-ins (FREE software available from www.google.com/nikcollection)
