Experience Level: Advanced Beginner to Advanced. Minimally, know and be able to use your camera functions and the recommended accessories (see Field Equipment Required, below) and have a command of basic composition principles. Please send three of your favorite images the week before the class. (Instructions will be sent upon registration.) We will have a sharing Friday evening.

Field Equipment Required: A list of equipment needed for the workshop(s) you sign up for will be sent to you upon registration.

Classroom Equipment Desired: Your laptop computer or iPad for note taking and/or post-processing. The classroom is equipped with four computers, but also two Apple Cinema Displays that can be connected to laptops.

Software: Adobe Lightroom is suggested. If other software is required, a list of apps will be supplied prior to the workshop. Most are available as 30 day trials, so no need to buy until you’ve tried. The computers on site are equipped with Lightroom so only those wishing to use their own computers need secure the software.


Registration & Tuition: $250 includes Friday’s welcome party and Saturday’s snacks. Lunch will be catered, cost not included in tuition. You may also bring your own lunch.

Please clearly state that you are registering for the workshop (in the message box) and include a bit about your experience in photography. Payment may be made via PayPal (it’s not necessary that you have an account). An invoice will be sent within 8 hours of receipt of your registration.

Attendance is limited to 12 participants. Accommodations are separate and may be arranged through Mountain Lens.

To receive a Full Refund, your request must be received by January 5th.

A Full Refund minus a $50 administrative fee will be given from January 5th to January 19th.

No refunds will be made for cancellations after January 19th.

Specific dates for other workshops will be posted when the schedules are set. But, in general they will follow these guidelines"
